Improv workshop - Make your partner shine - Charlotte De Metsenaere Málaga

Professional improviser Charlotte De Metsenaere (Leuven, Belgium) is visiting Málaga, and you have the unique opportunity to have a workshop with her.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Name: ‘It’s all about you!’ - Make your partner shine

Level: Intermediate (some previous experience in improv is required)

Description: In this workshop, we explore ways how to take care of your partners, but also push them "off the cliff". Providing different points of view, this workshop looks at how getting into your partner's head takes the tension away from being in yours. This workshop includes topics as energy, ego, storytelling, scenography and the power of our imagination. “It's not what you want to do, it's what your partner is making you do.”

WHEN:

13th of April (SATURDAY), from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00  (6 hours in total).
For the lunch break, you can bring your own food, go grab something quick, or we organize some food delivery.

WHERE:

FYE Academy (Near the María Zambrano station)

ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Charlotte is a well known improviser in the Belgian and international improv scene. She has been performing and teaching for over 20 years. She owns her own improv school, performs regularly with several companies, teaches and performs at improv festivals all around the world. Furthermore, she was recently selected to represent Spain in the Improv European Masters Tournament happening in April/May 2024.

OTHER INFOS:

A 10% of the proceeds go to a local charity for the homeless (more info in Mylaga.org).
