Un anciano enfermo de alzhéimer se cree Don Quijote. Su cuidador intenta ayudarle a recordar su propia vida, siguiéndole el juego. Según se va desarrollando la amistad entre ambos, se descubre que nada es lo que parece en este juego de teatro dentro del teatro, todo un laberinto de identidades y falsos recuerdos. Una montaña rusa de emociones, entre la comedia más disparatada y el dolor más humano y profundo.
