Prize winning classical guitarist Ljubica Bukvic plays masterpieces by Albéniz, Granados, Tárrega, Sanz and more

For three arias by Mozart and Bizet she will be joined by Olga Shvydka - mezzo soprano

Classical guitarist Ljubica Bukvi? was born in Serbia where she started her musical studies at the age of nine. She earned her Bachelor and Master degree in the at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona, where she currently lives.

She won several international awards in various guitar competitions such as Festival de la Guitarra de Sevilla; Spain, Veria International Guitar Festival, Greece; Braga International Competition for Classical Guitar, Portugal; Certamen Internacional de Guitarra de Barcelona Miquel Llobet, Spain; I Concurso de Guitarra de Girona Josep Ferrer, Spain; European Competition Citta di Gorizia, Italy; International Guitar Festival of Szeged, Hungary; Morski Festival Kitare, Slovenia.
