Descubre diferentes métodos para integrar letras y palabras en tus tejidos de punto con Typeknitting. Aprenderás a pixelar fuentes y otros tipos de letras para tejer con puntos deslizados y sombreados o tipo patchwork.

¿Cómo funciona el taller en directo?

Al apuntarte a este curso teórico práctico, recibirás un documento en PDF que deberás imprimir antes de empezar. Es indispensable para seguir la clase online. Así podrás comenzar a experimentar con el Typeknitting al finalizar la clase.

Desarrollo del taller

En este taller, aprenderás punto por punto cómo traducir una tipografía o fuente en un patrón de tejido.

Rüdiger Schlömer hará una introducción sobre son los diferentes tipos de métodos de tejido de punto y los posibles puntos de conexión con tus proyectos.

Después se centrará en la técnica del patchwork como base para la construcción de letras simples. Una vez aprendas los principios, podrás aplicar los parches a proyectos de gran formato como cojines o mantas.

Al finalizar el taller, se abrirá el turno de dudas y preguntas sobre el contenido del curso.

Conocimientos previos: Montar puntos, tejer derecho y revés, tejer con dos colores a la vez.

Material necesario: Necesitas tener lista tu letra favorita impresa, tu patrón favorito al que quieras incluir letras, agujas circulares de entre 3.5mm y 4.5mm, lana grosor DK en varios colores, papel cuadriculado, lápiz y tijeras.

¿Cómo funcionan los talleres y charlas online?

Barcelona Knits 2020 cuenta con un programa de talleres y charlas online de punto de media y ganchillo impartidos por reconocidos diseñadores nacionales, internacionales e influencers del mundo de la lana.       

A partir de finales de septiembre, podrás consultar el programa de talleres online y el panel de talleristas y reservar tu plaza. 

Utilizaremos Zoom como plataforma para las clases virtuales. Sólo necesitarás un ordenador o un dispositivo móvil con cámara y micrófono. Te recomendamos que compruebes la calidad de tu conexión, los horarios, idioma en que se imparten, el nivel y los conocimientos previos que necesitas. 

Una vez empezado el taller, ya no podrás acceder. Por este motivo, lo mejor es que te conectes 10 minutos antes y te asegures de que el link funciona correctamente.

Discover the different methods to integrate letters and words into your knitted fabrics with Typeknitting. You will learn how to pixelate font letters and other types of letters to knit with slip stitches and shadings or patchwork.

How the streaming workshop works:

Once you join this theoretical-practical workshop, you will receive a PDF document that you will have to print before the event. It will be necessary for the online class. That way you will be able to start experimenting with Typeknitting once the class is over.

Development of the workshop

In this workshop, you will learn step by step how to translate typography or font to a knitting pattern.

Rüdiger Schlömer will make an introduction about the different types of knitting methods and the possible points of connection with your projects.

After that, he will focus on the patchwork technique as a base for the building of simple letters. Once you know the basics, you will be able to apply patches to your big-size projects like pillows or blankets.

Once the workshop is over, there will be a question and answers section about its content.

Necessary material: You will need your favorite letter printed out, your last knitting projects, your favorite pattern you want to include typography, circular needles between 3.5mm and 4.5mm, DK weight yarn in different colors, square paper, pencils and scissors.

How will the online workshops and talks work?

Barcelona Knits 2020 counts with a program of workshop and online talks of knitting and crocheting taught by well known national and international designers as well as by influencers of the world of wools.       

From September, you will be able to see the program of online workshops and the workshop facilitators list and book your seat.

We will use Zoom as a online-class platform. You will only need a computer or a mobile device with a camera and a microphone. We will recommend you to test the quality of the connection, the schedules, the language in which they are taught, the level, and the required previous knowledge.

Once the workshop starts, you won’t be able to access it. That’s why we recommend you to join 10 minutes before and to make sure that your link works properly.
