Back to the FUTURA of electronic music....
DJ and Producer Leon has been making the most of his massive international experience behind the decks and during the music industries enforced break, he has had the time to create and develop a long time desire, his brand new concept: FUTURA.
Leon, has played around the globe in world renowned clubs from Amnesia and DC10 in Ibiza to Rex Club Paris, Fabric London, Club der Visionaere in Berlin, Space in Miami, Cocorico in Italy and on top of this has been a resident for Marco Carola's Music On since its inception in 2012. He can count internationally recognised artists such as Loco Dice, Ricardo Villalobos and Steve Lawler as ardent supporters of his music and his DJ sets. Having been discovered many year ago himself, he has used his now large wealth of experience to do the same for others and to create FUTURA, a brand and label where he recognises and rates talent so highly, he give space to newly discovered and breakthrough artists such as Luuk Van Dijk, Janeret, Harry Wills, Koko, Sublee and Ben Balance alongside more established names like Youandewan, and Mark Ambrose to mention just a few.
The concept of the brand is having quality releases every month, alongside planned label nights at venues in London, Naples, Amsterdam Leon will have forward thinking and hypnotic visuals combining with the music and artists from the label to create a positive sense community amongst the crowd where it's about the music, the crowd, the freedom of expression and the unity, which was what house music was about original, whilst giving it a modern twist and so brings it back to the FUTURA of electronic music.
