Rumbia, a band formed by musicians from Peru, Venezuela, Chile, and Austria, enjoys, honors, explores, and shares the richness of the Peruvian cumbia tradition. Perfect mood for dancing and experiencing a taste of South American vibes.
Cumbia is the most widespread music genre in Latin America. It originated in Colombia, but quickly spread throughout the region and found a special expression in each country. Cumbia is the rhythm and sound of Latin America.
In Peru, cumbia took on a special sound - in the same place where the psychedelic guitar was "invented". A mixture of the sounds and secrets of the jungle and the Andean highlands and Peruvian chicha music, an urban fusion of Colombian cumbia from the coast with melodies from the Andes - this is the sound that unites people.
