The Friday 8th of March from 17:30-23:30 we celebrate the International women's day with the best female line-up possible. A day aimed to give VISIBILITY and REFERENCES to all the female upcoming talent that we need in order to keep growing our Barcelona Drum & Bass scene. Right now the percentage of female artists is absolutely low and we think this is a major problem, we want this to change. The only way to reach an equality is to encourage more female artists to start DJing and Producing and we think having references and artists which can inspirate from the start can definately make a change, so more female artists can join us. This will build a healthier scene but also will rise up the level in it for everybody. Enjoy this incredible day with us which honours the movement for women's rights and all the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements during history.

This will be the 4th edition of Automata in one of the most iconic underground clubs of Barcelona @thegarage_of_thebassvalley with probably the best sound in town, specially for Drum & Bass.

El divendres 8 de març de 17:30 a 23:30 celebrem el Dia Internacional de la Dona amb el millor line-up possible amb talent consagrat i nou. Una jornada amb l'objectiu de donar VISIBILITAT i REFERÈNCIES a tot el futur talent femení que necessitem per seguir creixent en la nostra escena a Barcelona. Ara mateix el percentatge d'artistes femenines és absolutament baix i creiem que aquest és un problema molt important, volem que això canviï. L'única manera d'aconseguir la igualtat és que més artistes femenines s'animin a començar a fer de DJs com a produir i creiem que tenir referències i artistes que puguin inspirar des del principi definitivament pot fer un canvi perquè més artistes femenines s'uneixin a la nostra causa. Això crearà una escena més saludable, però també augmentarà el nivell per a tothom. Gaudeix d'aquest dia increïble amb nosaltres que homenatja el moviment pels drets de les dones i tots els èxits socials, econòmics, culturals i polítics aconseguits durant la història.

Automata is a Drum & Bass event promoter aimed to promote the Barcelona local talent, we believe the old and the new local talent has to be supported while trying to create regular events, so everyone can benefit and have the same opportunities if there's work and effort behind. We also invest a lot of our time in teaching new DJs and producers without any profit, we do not want money to be an entry barrier to generate talent and we think that's the most healthy strategy thinking in the mid/long term. Building from the bottom to the top. We do want to create a sustainable strategy, sharing our benefits with the artists, so as more attendence, more profits they'll receive. Automata és una promotora d'esdeveniments de Drum & Bass amb l'objectiu de promocionar el talent local de Barcelona, ??creiem que s'ha de donar suport a l'antic i al nou talent local mentre s'intenta crear esdeveniments regulars, perquè tothom pugui beneficiar-se i tenir les mateixes oportunitats si hi ha feina i esforç darrere. També invertim molt del nostre temps en ensenyar nous DJs i productors sense cap benefici, no volem que els diners siguin una barrera d'entrada per generar talent i creiem que aquesta és l'estratègia de pensament més saludable a mitg/llarg termini. Construim des de sota cap amunt. Volem crear una estratègia sostenible, compartint els nostres beneficis amb els artistes, de manera que quanta més assistència, més beneficis reben.
