Una versión libre del relato homónimo recopilado por Charles Perrault (1697). Nuestra historia comienza cuando el hijo menor de un molinero recibe como única herencia un gato, el cual e pide una bolsa y un par de botas para que pueda demostrarle que su herencia no es tan mala como parece. El Gato con Botas luchará contra el malvado Ogro quien tiene atrapada a la gatita blanca Ticky. Respetando la idea principal de la narrativa, se incluyen canciones, elementos y personajes que enriquecen la historia y permiten a la familia disfrutar de una vistosa y divertida puesta en escena.
