Llega el sonido Gospel a La Orotava Suena bajo el titulo “THE HARLEM EXPERIENCE”
Dos grupos que residen en la isla de Tenerife, pero con bastante influencia y proyección Nacional e Internacional. Gospel Shine Voices dirigidos por Ezequiel Barrios y The Latonius Gospel Choir con la dirección de Latonius. Gospel Shine Voices nace hace 8 años como primer coro góspel de Tenerife. Han actuado en auditorios de las Islas como: Auditorio Teobaldo Power, Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín, Paraninfo de La Universidad de La Laguna y en festivales de música como: Caprichos Musicales de La Isla Baja, Premios Teide de Oro de Cadena Ser, Festival Free People, Festival de Gospel de Canarias, Guinness World Records en Londres entre otros.

Están inmersos en la presentación de su espectáculo y en la grabación de su primer trabajo discográfico que tiene por nombre <<FAITH HOPE & LOVE>>, donde participan los cantantes Lurine Cato y David Daniel desde Londres y que incluye su primer single inédito. Gospel Shine Voices está dirigido por el canario, Ezequiel Barrios, músico formado en las islas, pero que lleva muchos años impregnándose del sonido góspel fuera de Canarias. Se ha formado y/o ha compartido escenario con: Bazil Meade, Karen Gibson, Lurine Cato, Daniel Thomas, en diferentes paises de Europa.

Por otro lado, se ha creado un nuevo grupo de música golpe en Tenerife de la mano de Latonius Earl, más conocido con el nombre artístico The Latonius. Este artista originario de Estados Unidos, ha recorrido el mundo dando conciertos y enseñando lo que es el gospel a través de varios cursos.

Tras años de viaje y enseñanza se instala en Tenerife donde decide grabar su segundo disco. En el año 2015 crea el grupo de gospel The Latonius Gospel Choir, con el intenta llevar a toda Canarias las composiciones originales de Latonius, así como de la música gospel del siglo pasado, con algunas versiones actualizadas de clásicos del gospel como “Oh happy day” o “Amazing Grace” con los que conseguirá ponerte los pelos de puntas.
