Auditorio de Tenerife presenta este concierto del Festival de Música Contemporánea de Tenerife FMUC. en el Paraninfo de la Universidad de La Laguna.

En este proyecto singular J.S. Chapi, el director de la formación, reivindica un espectáculo dedicado a una figura musical sin precedentes en la historia de la cultura universal: J. Sebastián Bach. El programa está compuesto de piezas del autor arregladas sobre la base orquestal de percusión y algunas músicas tradicionales africanas, que sin duda han sido inspiradas como las del maestro alemán, a partir del singular arquetipo de la humanidad y la espiritualidad, todo ello bajo el prisma de una rabiosa modernidad. La música arquitectónica de Bach ha sido la fuente de inspiración de este designio, dado que el genial compositor ha eludido el concepto tradicional del tiempo y lo ha convertido en rotunda vocación.

 

Habrá una charla previa al concierto a las 19:00 horas.
