Hamelin Quintet es el proyecto original de cinco músicos (Francisco García, Candelaria González,  Héctor González, Ruymán Martín y Fernando García)  que, amando profundamente lo que hacen, están  en una continua búsqueda de nuevas formas, arreglos y hallazgos musicales  que los traen y los llevan de una  orilla a otra.

Música en estado puro, matizada por la particular visión y el bagaje que cada uno de ellos ha venido acumulando a lo largo de muchos años de experiencia. Sobre una configuración de flauta, contrabajo, guitarra, percusión y voz, abordan, de manera única, sonidos mestizos desde el tango al funk, pasando  por el arrorró, la guajira, el zumba que zumba (variedad del joropo) o la gaita, con melodías que nos transportan, del llano  venezolano a nuestras tierras, de  los arrabales porteños a la cuna del ritmo afroamericano.

Hamelin Quint et elige los menos conocidos de los ritmos populares y nos los acerca, solo por la satisfacción de ver cómo nos reconocemos en ellos, desde  cualquier  lugar del mundo. Música que vincula, que une, que conecta  realidades distintas que, en esencia, son la misma.
