SINOPSIS:

Esmeralda es una composición poliédrica sobre un personaje seductor y sumamente complejo. La propuesta básica utiliza fragmentos de su biografía y añade nuevos elementos de ficción. Partimos de un espacio-tiempo contemporáneo, recorremos lo esencial de su periplo vital y regresamos al punto de partida. Se trata, pues, de ofrecer una visión retrospectiva, panorámica y siempre sorpresiva sobre un personaje poético y viajero que nunca se deja atrapar, un personaje que tiende a la libertad individual y que apuesta por la solidaridad colectiva. El argumento tiene en cuenta el contexto histórico y la peripecia personal, pero incide en aspectos apenas conocidos como mujer creativa, transgresora y precursora. La acción requiere de personajes imprescindibles que pertenecen a distintos tiempos y ámbitos. Su madre, Clotilde Bosch, es una compañera amorosa incomparable. Igualmente intervienen otros personajes que ejercen como revulsivos y claves de la acción. En este sentido habría que destacar a Rosa, a Urbano Izquierdo y a Patricio Estévanez.
