La cantaora granadina Estrella Morente actuará en el Teatro Atlántida, de Arrecife, el próximo 17 de mayo. 

Morente está de gira con 'Copla' su último trabajo estrenado hace poco más de un mes. Se trata de un álbum que demuestra lo que la artista quiere transmitir, una vuelta a la esencia, a la pureza y a la sencillez de la canción española, sin más adornos ni fusiones. El disco salió a la venta bajo la discográfica Universal y aunque su carta de presentación fue su primer single “Soledad”, en él podemos encontrar también coplas tan míticas como “Madrina”, “Miedo”, “¡Ay Pena, Penita!”, “Yo soy ésa” o “La Niña de Puerta Oscura”, entre otras.

Estrella Morente es hija de Enrique Morente también cantaor, y de Aurora Carbonell, bailaora, quienes le han transmitido desde su infancia la esencia del flamenco.
