La Joven Compañía es un proyecto profesional juvenil de teatro que tiene la misión extender el amor por el teatro y la cultura en toda la sociedad y con especial incidencia entre los jóvenes. Trabajamos por la cultura hecha por jóvenes, el empleo, la educación y los derechos sociales.
La compañía nace en verano de 2012 para generar una plataforma de encuentro que uniera a los profesionales de las artes escénicas y a la comunidad docente. En la actualidad trabajan en ella cerca de cincuenta jóvenes entre 18 y 27 años, que colaboran con grandes profesionales del circuito nacional teatral. Una combinación de generaciones que se extiende al patio de butacas. Más de 70.000 espectadores de toda España asisten anualmente a las obras de La Joven Compañía en más de 30 ciudades de España. La labor del proyecto en “la creación de futuros profesionales, artísticos y técnicos; la investigación dramática; la búsqueda eincorporación de nuevos públicos y su proyecto pedagógico” fue reconocida con el Premio El Ojo Crítico de Teatro de Radio Nacional de España en 2014.
SINOPSIS
El supuesto asesinato cometido por Marcos, un estudiante de Bachillerato, constituye el punto de partida de una investigación que nos permite adentrarnos, a través de sus amigos y compañeros de clase, en sus miedos, sueños e inquietudes. Fernando J. López adapta para La Joven Compañía su novela, finalista del Premio Nadal 2010. Una función en la que los adolescentes toman la voz en este retrato realista y a la vez poético de toda su generación que nace como un canto a la diferencia y a la búsqueda -libre y valiente- de nuestra identidad.
