Tras más de dos años presentando su último disco (Apuntes Sobre Mi Paso Por El Invierno), Marwan se embarca en seis meses de gira maratoniana con DESPEDIDA DEL INVIERNO. Alrededor de 40 conciertos que le llevarán por toda la geografía española compartiendo sus versos, su humor, y todas las historias que hay en sus canciones.

Marwan ha conseguido convertirse, gracias al boca a boca, en uno de los cantautores más reconocidos del circuito de salas de España con llenos en todas las ciudades y con unos números espectaculares también en algunas ciudades de Latinoamérica a pesar de ser un artista independiente sin ayuda de ningún sello discográfico.


Nacido en Madrid en 1979 fruto del amor de un palestino y una española, a los 15 años se compró una guitarra para tocar música con sus amigos. Pronto los discos de Serrat, Silvio Rodríguez y Sabina –que siempre sonaron en casa– y cantautores de la generación de los 90 como Ismael Serrano, Carlos Chaouen le hicieron decantarse por la canción de autor. Luego ya llegaron el resto de influencias más diversas: Manu Chao, Jorge Drexler, Calamaro, Damien Rice, Quique González, Nach... ¿Qué tiene la música de Marwan para llenar salas de cualquier ciudad sin recurrir al marketing, la publicidad y las grandes discográficas? El cantautor aventura una hipótesis: “Cuando la gente se identifica con lo que cantas, lo personal pasa a la dimensión de lo universal...” Todo es boca a boca y un poquito de ayuda de las herramientas de Internet. Lo cierto es que la universalidad de lo íntimo a la que se refiere nuestro músico, unida a la omnipresente Internet y una gran cantidad de trabajo, han desatado un fenómeno que además de cierta magia ha dejado una firme huella en la estadística musical: una gira que supera los 250 conciertos y que ha conseguido llenar todas las salas visitadas.
