La actriz Mirtha Ibarra regresa con fuerza a los escenarios con la obra Neurótica Anónima, un trabajo que escribe, co-produce, co-dirige y protagoniza.

Su partner en el teatro es de nuevo Joel Angelino, actor con el que ya ha compartido oficio en el cine con Fresa y chocolate, y en el teatro con la puesta en escena de Obsesión Habanera, pieza  también escrita por la propia Ibarra con la que hizo una gira por España entre los años 2000 y 2001.

La historia de Dulce Rodríguez es la de una mujer que habiéndose graduado de Profesora de Literatura termina, -por diversos asuntos-, convirtiéndose en acomodadora del conocido Cine Maravilla, el cine más rutilante de su Habana querida. 

 

Tal vez por evadir la realidad o por hallar consuelo en su nuevo trabajo,  ella resalta de los guiones el contenido literario que es lo más interno y vital en su imaginario. Dulce empieza a vivir sin vivir en ella como escribiera Santa Teresa de Ávila, pero no para vivir en el Señor, como la santa, sino en la emulación de las señoras estelares de las más espléndidas películas según su entender...
