Will Beard es un guitarrista, compositor y líder de banda estadounidense, reconocido por su extraordinaria versatilidad y por fusionar jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, world music y música experimental. Bill Milkowski lo describió como uno de los guitarristas más potentes, aunque poco reconocidos, de la escena posterior a Bill Frisell y John Scofield.
Comenzó su trayectoria inteacional con Peter Apfelbaum’s Hieroglyphics Ensemble, participando en su debut discográfico junto a Don Cherry. Will Beard is an American guitarist, composer, and bandleader renowned for his extraordinary versatility and his ability to blend jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, world music, and experimental music. Bill Milkowski described him as one of the most powerful, yet under-recognized, guitarists of the post-Bill Frisell and John Scofield scene.
He began his inteational career with Peter Apfelbaum’s Hieroglyphics Ensemble, appearing on their debut recording alongside Don Cherry. Over the years, he has collaborated with artists including Dr. Lonnie Smith, Tom Waits, Dr. John, Booker T. Jones, John Medeski, Charlie Hunter, Stanton Moore, and George Porter Jr.
