I Camel sono nati nel 1971 quando Richard Over, Ian Latimer, Andrew Latimer e Alan Butcher formarono una band chiamata "The Phantom Four", per poi cambiare formazione (Peter Bardens, Andrew Latimer, Andy Ward e Doug Ferguson) e nome, prima "Strange Brew", poi "The Brew". Cambiato il nome definitivamente in "Camel", suonarono il loro primo pezzo al Waltham Forest T Maggiori informazioni
