Un científico de la tierra y un músico que hizo de la música de su tierra una figura estilística inconfundible. Mario Tozzi, el geólogo conocido por el gran público por sus retransmisiones televisivas, y Enzo Favata, saxofonista de jazz apreciado en el panorama internacional, juntos cuentan el Mediterráneo desde el particular punto de vista de la geología, una ciencia tan fascinante como descuidada, y la música de frontera. entre pasado y futuro.

De este encuentro surge un fresco inédito del mito de la Atlántida, una película sin imágenes contada con palabras y sonidos, en la que toman forma paisajes arcaicos, mitos olvidados e investigaciones científicas, revelando al espectador una geografía milenaria, enterrada en la estratificación de eras geológicas y prehistórico.

SINOPSIS ROMA JAZZ FESTIVAL

Now in its 44th edition, the Roma Jazz Festival returns, one of the most important international events dedicated to jazz and its infinite trajectories. The festival, conceived and organized by the IMF Foundation in co-production with the Musica per Roma Foundation, will take place from 29 October to 20 November at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, the Casa del Jazz and the Monk Club.
 
Absolute premieres, international guests and prominent Italian artists, historical names and new revelations.
 
After Jazz it is now in 2018 and No Borders in 2019, the theme of this edition is Jazz for Change. A necessary change in a world afflicted by the climate emergency, by the questioning of civil rights and by the increasingly invasive regurgitation of racism and nationalism, to which movements such as Black Lives Matter and Climate for Change are reacting strongly.
 
The pandemic has shown us how it is of strategic importance to change our lifestyle, the approach with others, the relationship with the environment and rethink urban fabrics, imagine new ways of living spaces but also make the most of potential offered by new technologies.
