Omega, known as El Fuerte, is a Dominican singer and songwriter, a pioneer of urban merengue or street merengue. His approach fuses traditional merengue with hip-hop, reggaeton, and electronic music rhythms. With his group Omega y su Mambo Violento, he achieved popularity in the Dominican Republic and countries throughout Europe and the United States.
