Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana, known until 1954 as Radio Audizioni Italiane, is the Italian public service broadcaster, and is considered the biggest public television company in Europe with the British BBC.
It operates three terrestrial television channels and three radio channels, in addition to several satellite and digital terrestrial offerings.
